Here are the many forms of treatment we utilize including:
- Five Element theory, which focuses on the movement of the seasons: Winter/Water, Wood/Spring, Fire/Summer, Late Summer/Earth and Fall/Metal, and how that is reflected in us
- Traditional Chinese medicine (TCM), which looks at patterns of disharmony and is framed by Eight principles: Yin/Yang, Interior/Exterior, Deficiency/Excess, and Cold/Hot
- Scalp Acupuncture, which treats the brain locally at the various motor, sensory, and other centers to affect neurological function, pain, vision, hearing, balance. Good for post stroke or other brain injuries
- Auricular acupuncture, which treats points on the ear, often used for detox and addiction. The ear is a microcosm of the whole body and can treat things quite effectively
- SAAT (Soliman Allergy Acupuncture Treatment), an amazingly effective protocol for treating allergies with just one, well selected point on the ear. It uses muscle testing and frequency specific medicine. For those with Alpha Gal or other devastating allergy symptoms this is a game changer
- Master Tung, acupuncture protocol that uses only a few unique points that are highly effective for all kinds of issues
- Master Tan Balance method, uses mirroring to treat pain effectively away from the point of pain
- Shonishin pediatric acupressure, uses small tools to provide acupressure on children versus needles
- Animal Acupuncture for your furry friends! Most animals come for musculoskeletal issues related to aging but also helpful for behavioral challenges, allergies, skin issues
- And of course, Chinese herbal medicine, a beautiful complement to acupuncture for daily treatment between sessions. It's effective for some things that acupuncture can't treat as effectively. Laura also has specialized training in Dermatology using Chinese Herbal Medicine to great effect.
Additionally we also offer:
